“Where does he get those wonderful toys?”
It’s #batmanday2021 and I’ve been thinking about doing this shot for months! More like half a year since I found the charger for my moon… Anyways, since it’s #batmanday I thought I would reimagine that shot from the #batman1989 movie with my favorite #batwing which is the one from #batmantheanimatedseries . This one is made by @hotwheelsofficial !

"Who can you trust? Me, I'm here handing out real money. And where is Batman? He's at home washing his tights!!"
Since my stream has been so dead lately, here's a sneak-peek on what I've been working on for quite a long time: ever since posting the Joker's parade set, I've been wanting to do a full-scene of Joker's parade from the Batman 1989 movie (still my favorite).
The baby balloon was something I was ready to skip, since it's pretty difficult to build from legos... but after getting an inspiration, I think it turned out ok. The whole set is quite big, about 120cm long but it's finally almost done. Still need to figure out a few details and probably do a couple of stickers, which I usually don't use. But this time especially the Monarch theather (included in the set) really needs some stickers.

One more photo showing the parade. The balloons are so heavy that I had to use a technic brick to support them.

"Thanks, I made it myself! I put the logo on the chest so it's quite visible, you know, branding is important. The only thing is the rubber around the neck is so thick I can turn my head but on the other hand-"
"Ok, ok! I didn't want your life story dude..."

Now here's a set I _finally_ finished, Gotham City's 200th Anniversary aka Joker's Parade from epic 1989 Batman movie by Tim Burton. A movie, I still consider to be "the" Batman movie.
Few words about the set: Ever since I build Joker's cake car and the clown balloon (3 years ago!), I've been thinking about creating the whole scene. I spent quite a while drafting what Burton's Gotham might look like, already building some of the scene before I run into this goldmine. In brief, a couple of guys visited the set which was build for the movie and took a ton of photos. Unfortunately the movie site has been destroyed years ago.
Based on those photos I started drafting the scene, including Brackmann's Delicatessen and Arnee's Bar not to mention the Monarch Theatre of course. The last one was a pain, I think I build it 3 times using different techniques to create the curved wall.
I made the buildings a bit "chubby" to fit the Lego style, also the street was originally longer, but I had to cut 2 x 16 studs so that I'd have some chances of storing this set somewhere. I also build a third balloon, the five-tentacled octopus, but descided not to use that one.
Sorry about the dust :(
p.s. There are 6 named people from the movie in the set :) I might be difficult to spot them from this photo, but I'll post more.
EDIT: More photos can be found in the album
Joker: Fried? Is that what you heard? You set me up over a woman. A *woman*! You must be insane.

[Grissom goes for his gun]
Joker: Don't bother.
Grissom: Your life won't be worth spit!
Joker: I've been dead once already. It's very liberating. You should think of it as, uh... therapy.
Grissom: Jack, listen. Maybe we can cut a deal.
Joker: Jack? Jack is dead, my friend.
[steps into the light]
Joker: You can call me... Joker. And as you can see, I'm a lot happier.
BATMAN 1989
I wasn't meaning to publish this, since there are so many Lego versions of the classic Burton's '89 Batmobile. I originally build it to use it later on a certain set, but it turned out ok, so let's just go for it..
I'm not sure how many versions of this classical vehicle I've build.. but it's a lot: some versions have been 6 studs wide, some 8, some taller then others while some have been shorter. Some have been way out of minifigure scale. But this time I ended up building the car 7 studs wide, which I think is closest to the correct proportions. This also allowed to create a small gap between the rear "wings" and the hull of the car. I played around with different solutions regarding the front mudguard, which might be the most difficult part, but ended using quite basic setup.

Neca's 1989 Batman figure with a custom cape made by Tony Mei. This is my first Tony Mei cape and I must say I love it. It definitely brings the figure to a new level a awesome.

A young couple is on their way to see the critically acclaimed new musical "Footlight Frenzy" totally unaware of what's happening down the street..
Note: Another lame preview of the set I've been working on what feels like forever. Typically I like to keep my sets "purist", however this set needed a few stickers. Previous previews can be found here and here

Honestly a lot of rumours regarding Flashpoint, so I thought I’d add to my Batman collection with a custom cowl for Bale and Affleck and a modified Keaton look. Also the Clooney batman is in the back but the bat-nipples didn’t come out as clear in the pic. Lol.
"You know, it's time I did MY part!"
That Barbie bicycle was $4 from ebay with free shipping. It's actually decent quality. And's Jack's just CRAZY about his new ride!
There is a multiverse.
If only there were a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman.
I am awaiting better sculpted and sadly far more expensive action figures than the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice figures by Mattel. They just look too "toylike" to me.
