I've enjoyed every one of the Batis series thus far. They are nicely made, lightweight, and, well, they are autofocusing Zeiss lenses - what more could you ask for? I'll be releasing review content on this unique addition to the series that offers up close focus ability and a 0.30x magnification (as you can see here). I've used one of my vintage cameras (an old Kodak bellows camera) as my subject, and the old camera looks great. You can see more images from the Batis 40 here: bit.ly/batis240ig and stay tuned to my YouTube channel for video releases starting tomorrow.

In projection with a Leica slide-projector and the famous Carl Zeiss P-Sonnar 2,5/90 it gives an unsurpassed image quality: great colors, great natural sharpness and great feeling of 3D-depth.
