Beautiful batik print with traditiional fabric from Sierra Leone in West Africa. Stylish wooden handle
FASTENING:
Bag closes with magnetic snaps with enough to hold books, made up purce etc
Lined with sofe cotten fabric andinterfacing to maintain shape.
Used scrap leftovers from making the Rainbow Runner in Curves Class. Increased the size of the bag and used just t zippers. Stitched with a walking foot throughout and used scrap fleece (non-fusible). Top stitching don with embroidery thread. Set the zipper tab opening at 1 inch from outside edge...made the top zipper much easier to finish.

Detail of the internal finishing:
1. 1st opening: Batik fabric lip on inside of the bag and the same Batik fabric for the rest of the lining. One Internal Pocket
2. 2nd opening: Magnetic Snap. Made of exactly similar Batik fabric for the inside part of the bag and the lining. No internal pocket
