Edward Youde Aviary ,Hong Kong Park .

This was the first time he has drank the bath water.

A little "homemade" to be sure, but suitably bathtime-y and bubbly. :) Inside, the layers were blue and yellow! And yummy, of course. The icing bubbles extended down the side of the cake.

I found a box of my toys (yes, I am 38 years old) and Perla took a shine to the barbies. She plays with their hair and kisses them, but mostly likes to say "Hi!" over and over to them.

Yesterday, she said "Hi!" to one, paused a moment, and then said, "Hi, P'la!" as if the doll was talking back.

I am still floored: child development is amazing.

Still making the best of it.

Just stopped raining since

are just going down to see

what the water is like.

Ted is just going to see if

he can win £9 at a whist

drive - some hope!

Love Eva".
