There has been some concern about the lack of starlings in London. I certainly don't often see them in my own garden these days. However, there were plenty of them today at The Tower of London, having communal baths in a muddy puddle in the moat!
Our girl certainly loves her bathtime! Had to use a flash to freeze the water splash, of course. Removed colour in photoshop, but thought the duckie in yellow was a nice touch. A few water splashes on the lens, but no damage overall!!
I don't know why there was so much conflict among the Gulls bathing in the stream that comes out onto Drake's Beach; it seemed like there was enough room for everyone. Although this one involved 2 adults, a lot of the disputes seemed to involve a juvenile nipping at an adult.

So there are a nearly a million ( I think) Starlings roosting on the Somerset Levels and it is appears that they have bath before bedtime even if it means queuing.
this isn't really necessery? >_> i did this cause i felt like it... and that i like tom hiddleston alot, this is the 1883 magazine shootout for him too.
note: he's not naked... o-o he has shorts on....

I love watching Seb in the bath. He plays with all the characters in there, whilst also exploring Pouring water from the jug! Melts my heart.
Crayola makes a host of products that Paige just really seems to love. There are of course just the crayons themselves, which from and adult standpoint are of the highest quality. There's the myriad of special coloring substances for mystery surfaces that aren't your walls (as covered previously). We even even use they're colored bath gels and bubble bath.
Marna recently came across a set of crayons for coloring in/on the bath tub itself. They look pretty much like any other crayon, but they paper is replaced with a plastic housing. You draw on any bathtime non-porous surface, and make pictures to your hearts content. When you're done, you just take a washcloth with water and rub a few times. Presto! A clean surface for more unbridled creativity. I'm not sure who had more fun ... Dad coloring, or Paige cleaning up after him.
