I made a lot of new colors this batch :)

The entry into service of the second batch of Mercitalia E494s is proceeding.

After the initial set of 40 "Standard" E494s (001-040) provisioned only for the 3kV network, the new deliveries are comprising both 10 more "Standard" units (041-050) and 10 locomotives equipped with the Last Mile modules (601-610).

Following the completion of the second batch, the third one (70 + 30) locomotives will follow in late 2025.

In this picture, the E494.047 is leaving the side track of Tavazzano heading southbound with a sugar train for the Eridania group.

My first bagels. I have no idea what they should be like really because I am not a connoisseur of bagels. As a matter of fact I have never actually had one from a bakery. That's my next move. I have only ever had the ones in the plastic bags from the grocery store.... yeh, I know. Bad me. Bad me.

Mrs. Binns, my trusty starter, was by my side all the way .... they are sourdough bagels...

There was whining and moaning whilst attempting rolling, poking, and several other methods to get them 'shaped' ....

My sweetie came to the rescue as he does on occasion when I need talking down from the ledge.... he made it a competition and a race, and soon I was laughing my head off and I lost.... he probably did 9 to my 3 .... oh, alright .... we both did 6 each... but it may have been a larger number than I should have attempted for my first batch of bagels.

We made cheese and jalapeño, chocolate chip, and cinnamon raisin along with 3 plain. One of which I had today with cream cheese.... of course.....

Crumb reveal tomorrow .... as I'll definitely be having one for my lunch ....again!!
