Mini album of photos from my childhood.

I was asked to make a card for a male birthday - the person likes fishing so came up with this. I used Caardvarks current challenge sketch #2 The image is one I found on the internet and printed out and used some chalks to give a touch of colour. The patterned paper is by Basic Grey and the sentiment is by Peelcraft.
Here is another card using a different approach to the Retro Sketches #30 (retrosketches.blogspot.ca/) I used Paper Smooches stamps, Basic Grey patterned paper and a Fiskars border punch.
I just love how this card turned out! Check out the notes for more detail and you can click larger sizes to view itmore in detail.
•patterned paper: Echo Park Paper: Everybody Loves Christmas

•Element Stickers: Echo Park Paper: Everybody Loves Christmas
•glitter: Stickles: Star Dust
•fluid chalk ink: Color Box: Blackbird
•scalloped border punch: Fiskars
Cut a 5"by 7" backside piece. Layer border strips and adhere to main piece- only on the very outside edges and only on the sides and bottom of the card. This leaves an opening on the top to slip in a vertical 4" by 6" Christmas photo.
I love Paper Smooches Boob Tube stamps set! I used it here along with Basic Grey patterned paper to make this cute Valentine card.

I'm entering this card for the Lawnscaping Challenge #8 "Calling all Critters".
(There are no LawnFawn stamps on my card, but I do have my first two sets on the way! ;) )
My forgetful son left his school bag on the school field the night it pelted down with snow. School was cancelled for two days and by the time he went back, he'd forgotten where his bag was. Luckily I figured out where it was because who knows when he might have gotten it back.

I made this layout to participate in a challenge by BasicGrey. The guidelines were to use three photos, three papers, and three brads, with the freedom to add additional embellishments as necessary. I thought it might be a great challenge for these photos of my daughter last Christmas.
I used papers from three different BG collections here, and cut the ornament out from the backside of the green piece. Two of my brads bring texture to the ornament & snowflake and the third is in the tag on the title.
