This card is SUPER easy to create! I love the stamping on the grid paper- it adds to the owl's body detail! LOVE! I also love the papers- this is a great masculine card!
I embossed the glasses on transparency paper- it really adds the "real" look for the glasses!

I did this layout for the NVS design team June challenge. I immediately thought of this BasicGrey paper when I saw the collage, and I added the vintage dictionary pages to the edges and white washed them to emulate the look of the collage (I watered down a little drop of white paint and used a foam brush). I knew I wanted to use only 1 photo, and I tried to cut it out and make the silhouette like in the collage, but it just wasn't in the cards, lol. This is the second copy of this photo (as the other one was pretty butchered!) I kept the colors simple, but the red title really caught my eye in the collage. The journaling is "hidden" in the little pocket to the left of the photo. I feel like this layout is a little simple for me, but I just couldn't justify adding anything else; it seemed pretty harmonious as-is. Hope you enjoy!

I love this pic of Connor and Callum which I took as we walked down the street in Menorca. I found a gorgeous layout on scrapbook.com in girly colours with butterflies and flowers, so I adapted it to be a bit more boyish for my little guys.
I also used Ambrosia papers, but chose Citrus as my main colour with a base of Colourcore cardstock. The stars were cut with my Cricut.
Here's the inspiration page as a comparison.
I created this card for the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. I used Paper Smooches stamps, Stampin' Up cardstock and Basic Grey paper

This is one of five cards that I have made over the last two days. These cards are extremely easy to put together. I used rub-ons, chipboard stickers (thanks Lucy), assorted ribbons & paper flowers. No stamps where used. I enjoyed doing something different. The Birdcage is from Tim Holtz Alterations die which goes through my trust 'bug really well :D. TFL xoxoxoxoxoxo
