Bash Bish Falls are the tallest watefalls in the state of Massachusetts. The waterfall and the river straddle the border of NY and Massachusetts.
Legend has it that the waterfall was named after an American Indian woman sentenced to death after being accused of adultery. She was sent down the waterfall in a canoe to her death.
