I promised myself the day before I took these pictures that I would make myself get out of the car, and take pictures somewhere besides the car. Of course, it started raining, and is supposed to rain for five days. So much for the best laid plans of mice and men. HA
I had not slept at all the night before taking the pictures, and the fatigue is evident in every shot, and in the bags under my eyes. The damned camera insisted on recording the fact that I looked like a tired old fart. Stupid camera!
I have had this pipe for at least twenty years. If I'm not mistaken, this was the first of many pipes that I have got off eBay.
This was a fairly inexpensive pipe made by Savinellii. It says "Rossi" on the top of the stem, and "DUCA" is stamped on one side. The other side says, "Nino HP" (in script).
The Class of 2025 received their diplomas during Pomona College’s 132nd Commencement Exercises on Sunday, May 18, 2025 on the iconic Marston Quad
Dr. W. Benton Boone ’62, Louise Bryson, Justice Halim Dhanidina ’94 and David W. Oxtoby addressed graduates at Pomona College’s 2025 Commencement ceremony on Marston Quad on the Pomona College campus. The four speakers came from distinguished careers in medicine, media, law, and higher education, respectively. The College bestowed honorary degrees on each of them during the event.
In addition, Acting President Robert Gaines provided a Charge to the Class of 2025, while Shark Mutulili '25, senior class president and Fares Marzouk '25, senior class speaker, addressed the audience.
