For sure
you have to be lost
to find a place that can't be found,
elseways everyone would know
where it was.

The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem. Do you understand?
Angelica: I am starting to think you don't know where you are going.
Captain Jack Sparrow: Its not the destination so much as the journey.
Close your eyes and pretend all a bad dream. That’s how I get by.
Did everyone see that? Because I will not be doing it again.
Lord Cutler Beckett: [Jack has a cannon aimed at Beckett] You're mad!
Jack Sparrow: [grins] Thank goodness for that because if I wasn't, this'd probably never work.
Barbossa: So what now, Jack Sparrow? Are we to be two immortals locked in an epic battle until Judgment Day and trumpets sound?
Jack Sparrow: Or you could surrender.
"Aye, Whitecap Bay! Every worthless seaman fears the name, and rightly so, though few know why or dare to ask."
"Be the stories true?"
"Say what robs you of your staunch heart Gibbs, or forever leave it to the whiter fields of fancy."
"...Mermaids, captain?"

It is undoubtedly the biggest MOC I have ever realized, the lighthouse is more than 35 cms (14 inches).
Don't hesitate to glance at pictures for more details! I hope it will please you !
I added some Disney's fans :)

Recently re-assembled a large swath of my POTC figs (basically all of them that weren't from the Fourth one) and in doing so realized that man, this line got shafted really bad.
There wasn't even sets for At World's End, and only one for Curse of The Black Pearl. Instead the market was flooded with uninteresting sets from the worst entry in the franchise. At least the fifth film got a set that was almost worth a damn (I got all those figs second-hand and didn't rebuild them either)
Anyways, the point is there should have been more POTC sets from the first three films, and by that extension, many more characters.
These are the two (three if you count the dog) most egregious exclusions I could think of.
Lemme know what you think, eh?
Wasn't gonna post this but I figured what the hell, it was a decent sendoff.
Here's all my POTC Figs, both official and custom, from the first three films. I didn't and will not rebuild everyone from Four and Five because I don't want to, and those parts are better used other places.
As it is I feel like I've rounded out the roster nicely. There are still a few omissions, but nobody I'll probably end up getting to ultimately.
That's all for now. Now, bring me that horizon.
In Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Jack Sparrow and his crew travelled to Tia Dalma in order to find the Flying Dutchman. The mystic Tia Dalma lives in a tumbledown shack in the Cypress Forest on Cuba. Later his crew returned to the swampy forest to mourn Jack's death and to be confronted with the resurrected Barbossa.

Last of these, probably. But who knows, I was a huge fan of the original three films growing up, maybe I'll get into more obscure territories.
But probably not.
Mister Mercer: A victim of the hentai
Lt. Groves: The Fourth one is the worst one cause it's the one where Groves finally dies.
Lord Beckett: After looking back I realized most his outfits were earth-tones, so I did a swap.
Admiral Norrington: If it weren't for Barbossa, this would be my favorite character in the series.
Lemme know what you think, savvy?

I meant to post this a long time ago, but I think I got distracted by the CMFs.
Anyways, I re-watched Bad Blood a little while ago (It being the least terrible of the Damien trilogy) and for some reason I really appreciate the villain group. They're just such a weird combination of characters.
And here's some shoddy figs of em!
Hellhound: Not the head/hat combo I wanted but I don't have the head I did want. Ninjago mask, PoTC head, TMNT torso, Ninjago legs.
Electrocutioner: Indiana Jones head, Mr. Freeze torso, CMF Skater girl legs.
Mad Hatter: CMF Leprechaun hat/torso, Barbossa head.
Tusk: The worst of these, but I didn't have the head I wanted so, meh. Orc head, Mandarin torso.
The Heretic: Robin head, Ninjago armor, blue trenchcoat, Electro Torso/legs.
Talia: Wonder WOman hair, PoTC head, Catwoman torso, Batman legs.
Calculator: Anakin head, generic suit torso.
Onyx: SW Freemakers head, Black Widow torso/legs, Cloth leg piece.
Killer Moth: Ant Man helmet, MM Ultron head, Galaxy Squad torso/wings, CMF Knight legs.
Firefly: Just my old fig of him.
Let me know what you think!
From the deck of the Wicked Wench, Barbossa yells: "Strike yer colors, ye bloomin cockroachers... They need a bit of persuasion mateys... Fire at will! Pound 'em lads! Pound 'em!"
Finally got these thrown together. They're not all exact, and most of them deviate pretty significantly from the concept art I made and posted a while ago, but I like em well enough.
Back Row:
Captain Boomerang: Hawkeye hair, Bofur head (which I know has been used by many people already, it just works really well), CMF Snowboarder torso (?), SW Freemaker adventures legs, Grey Trenchcoat, old Adventurer's Triceratops horns as boomerang.
Deadshot: Official Floyd head, Old Republic Sith trooper torso, Age of Ultron Hawkeye legs.
Rick Flag: Everyone else's Flag pretty much. Aragorns' head, General Hardy's torso (MoS), War Machines' legs.
Harley Quinn: Official Harley Pigtails, Daphne head, Civilian torso from the park set with blue arm. Official Harley legs.
Front row:
Slipknot: I'd have used the Dino Attack torso with the rope but it's at my apartment in Oregon so... Captain Panaka head, Dino Attack Torso, Hawkeye legs.
Enchantress: Tonto Hair, CMF Athena torso, CMF Mummy arms, gold waist, Willie Scott legs.
Katana: CMF Cat Burglar hair, Captain Marvel masked head, Barbossa torso, Samurai Nya Legs
El Diablo: Same as everyone else's Diablo. These combos are just perfect.
Killer Croc: Skiff Guard head, Mutt torso.
I'm really stoked with the way these turned out. Let me know what you think!

L to R:
Top Row:
Firefly: New armor, kneepads, and went back to this helmet and a grey color scheme.
Ross Geller: MY SANDWICH
Storm: Saw someone say to use these legs for her a long time ago, forgot who said it though. Not sure if he was the first, but David$19 has done this.
Owlman: Self explanatory.
Bottom Row:
Black Widow: Really like this hairpiece on her, even if it is a tad to bright. I saw someone do this before me, but I can't find the account to credit. EDIT: Credit to Alex THELEGOFAN
Barbossa: Gave him CMF Highwayman arms. Could not for the life of me find my dark blue feather, so I just put a red one on there for now.
Cyclops: New hair. Credit to Dan.
Ki Adi Mundi: Ra's head works well for the 2003 2D animated Clone Wars Mundi.
Aquaman: Based off how he will look in the new movie.
Left to Right
Shriek: Agh! His head make me Shriek. I can't think of anything better so comment below if you have any ideas
King Shark: I will get him armor, but I wanted to post the combo using the Yondu fin before anyone else could
Music Meister: My favorite of the group. Barbossa hat, Doc Ock head, TLBM tie, Ninjago torso

Sorry for the bad qualities of the photo.
This is a figbarf of the main peoples of Essos the oriental land in the Asoiaf chronicles.
From left to right:
-Dothraki: the lords of the horses were not difficult to make, for the warrior I have not found a weapon similar to a arakh so I used a sword from Uruk
- slavery and unsullied: for first I was inspired to Kraznys mo Nakloz (who is burned to Astapor). For insullied I have not found a better face of the Tonto.
- Red Priest and sorcerer Asshai: my favorites. I wanted to use the face of Chima for the red priest to bring out the color of the eyes as if they were on fire. Drax's face it worked fine for the sorcerer and I think the swordsman torso and legs of Barbossa is one of my best combo
- Braavos banker and merchant Tyrosh: at first I wanted to give a more "humble" and for the second I took parts of the body in the event but I must say it came better than expected

Captain Barbossa vs Captain Jack Sparrow sword fight silhoutte from the Pirates of the Caribbean cosplayed by Aime-Lance Jaze (JazeCosplay).
final canvases painted by Tasso, Fri 6/7/07 as part of the Evolving Styles graff auctions. www.evolvingstyles.com/
All 6 canvases were for sale by auction individually - which seems a shame, it'd have been dope to have all 6....
Noticed this morning that my Lego Barbossa key chain had lost a leg (and his face, an arm, a hand and most of the print). Tis but a scratch...
The Curse of The Black Pearl Characters from Pirates of the Caribbean
Avast! This is my entry into @figbarf this week. I didn't get to make these characters or outfits during my POTC Trilogy posts back in December, so here they are now! Wish Lego made a gold dress piece I could've use for Elizabeth, but alas. Oh and before someone comments saying "they didn't use those guns in that era!", just know that I don't really care and these are the best I have.
Check out #figbarf12 of @figbarf if you haven't already - this weeks theme is The Seven Seas, so any and all pirates and other seafarers are encouraged! ☺
