Got out a few days ago (finally) & was able to practice some landscape shots & play with my new toy (polarizing filter). Almost dropped it first time outta the case...yikes! *Note to self-don't overadjust while setting polarization.

Have another similiar shot of the same owl on the same day here on my flickr site but found this extra one I had forgotten about so decided to upload it. The blue skies were on my side this day but the poor owl was squinting from the gorgeous bright sun. LOL These owls are without a doubt my FAVORITE bird (alongside the itty bitty Bue Jay. lol) Am hoping to get out soon with me camera in search of them again soon. =)

I just received the Northwest Coast Barbie and could not wait to snap some pics with her. So please don't judge the bad lighting and blurriness but it's dark outside already :D

Gave her the Teresa MTM body but it is obvsly too light so I'm thinking of getting the new skateboarder MTM or the orange top MTM for her. Not sure if there is any difference and which one would work better.

The boots, hat and cardigan are DIY.

Halfway Point for ICAD. I usually do a shot like this at the end but a lot of ICADers are doing one for the halfway point. It's all yellowy because I did this tonight with artificial light and the evening sun coming through the windows. I like it though.

The 3 potted flowers again this year represent my own wonderful sons, Brian, Billy, and Devon. I love you all so much.

I purchased this fabulous sofa, coffee table, and rug from Shirley on Ebay. What a talented lady she is! She has been on ebay since 2000 and she is 80 years young! I have a few other pieces from her I will show some time in the future. I feel so lucky to have found her offerings. My homage to the incomparable David Mann. His iconic paintings have been burned in my memory since I was a girl in the seventies. My stepbrother was a biker of sorts and always had those High Times /Easy Rider magazines around.

I got these motorcycles at Hobby Lobby as each was half price this year with something like this in mind. Then taking the photo was much more difficult than I had imagined. I had to find a "road" to use that had a place to set my Hollyweed sign. I worked pretty hard on this concept and it still didn't turn out like I planned but I think I did capture a feeling.

I had to have them.
