This is like what could have been Barbie Basics 4.0 with the skin tone and face sculpt combo that we never really got to see with the line. It wasn't as diverse as we wanted it to be. So here's the talented Carlyle Nuera teasing us with not one, but seven One-of-a-Kind dolls to be auctioned off on Ebay for this year's Madrid Fashion Doll Show Convention by the end of September. Look, the 90s RIchard Avedon Versace campaign inspiration may not be for everyone's taste but this, THIS is what I want to see from Barbie! I love that Carlyle is pushing the envelope and pushing for diversity! You continue to amaze me. That dark skinned Louboutin... I can't even breathe! An AA doll with the KL sculpt? Get out of here! I'm expecting for BC to unearth Barbie Basics from its grave and bring us something spectacular as this!

I was at Biglots yesterday and was looking at the SuperStar Barbie Then & Now. She was just $5!! I thought she was very pretty all dressed in hot pink and I love her shoes with the stars! Very cool! However, I really had bigger plans for Barbie! I noticed that her body was somewhat similar to some of the Barbie Basics bodies. So I put one of the "Little Black Dress" numbers on her and was blown away!!! None of the Barbie Basics girls have anything over on this girl! To me, Barbie SuperStar is fabulous in black or any other color!!! : )
I love how Mattel is now designing dresses with thought in it. Love the romantic print on this one :D

These two dresses are from my Spring 2012 collection and I was more than happy to make them again for a friend.
Brynn Adams recently moved into Dollywood to be near her family... She was invited by a talk show host to come onto the show so they could ask her a few questions (because her cousin Lynn is a very famous model who has children that are taking over dollywood)

Haha, of course not.. so your the cousin of the very established super model Lynn Adams right? And how has that changed your life? THAT IS TRUE, I AM HER COUSIN.. HOWEVER, I LIKE TO THINK THAT I CHANGED HER LIFE.. I AM THE SLIGHTLY YOUNGER AND WAYY PRETTIER VERSION OF HER.. OBVIOUSLY.. I LIVE A NORMAL LIFE, I COULD GO OUT AND BE A MODEL ANYTIME I WANTED.. BUT I DON'T WANT THAT TYPE OF LIFE YOU KNOW?
It's understandable, so how would you describe your cousin's relationship with you? WELL, I NEVER SEE HER... SHE'S ALWAYS DOING A SHOOT AN INTERVIEW ECT.... I THINK THAT FAME HAS STARTED TO CHANGE HER AND HER FAMILY.. I MEAN BUNNY (MY 15 YEAR OLD NIECE) ALREADY HAS A MODELING CONTRACT.. I DON'T SEE VERY GOOD ETHICS BEHIND THAT PERSONALLY.. Stacia is the younger sister of well known models Daria & Honey Ryder. She is very popular with the guys, girls do not seem to understand her. She is very friendly and easygoing. Originally to be closer to her now ex boyfriend, Mikey Pine who is a member of the basektball team.

Jaymen gets her looks from both of her parents, her fathers skintones, her mothers lips,eyebrows,and nose. Jayla and Andy are married, and have stuck with each other through several different obstacles.
