Fence marking the field

Y'know that big anti-smoking mural on Berry way down on like South 5th near the bridge? There's a little building next door to it with a liquor license application in the window. When I pass it at night lately I've seen them doing work inside.

Mulberry moorings at Medway Cruising Club

SAT 20th JUNE.

Bit of a random day. Slept for a good while and then sat playing Star Wars: Force Unleashed before heading out to Katys for a few beers with friends and then heading on to the Empire for a Madonna tribute of all things. Random but good fun.

Snapped this photo of some of the barbed wire near the Stiff Kitten on the walk down to Katys, didn't get too take any other shots really as was too busy the rest of the night.

Bratislava 2007

Monument at Kamp Amersfoort. Leusden, The Netherlands.

Between 1941 and 1945 Kamp Amersfoort (the official name of the camp was "Polizeiliches Durchgangslager Amersfoort" or PDA), functioned as an important place for prisoners of the SD ("Sicherheitsdienst" or Security Service). More than 35,000 persons were detained for various lengths of time.

I pass this building on my commute every day and have been planning to stop and take a shot of the 'tower' for ages. Sadly, the view when you park up isn't anything like the view from the road. Add to that the security guards who moved me on, and this is a hastily taken and rather rubbish representation.

Took this shortly after the other barbed wire shot and the thorns shot. I like the way the depth of field catches some of the foliage and the barbed wire. Playing in Photoshop I added a gradient map, vignetting and the border.
