Taken for the Jules’s Photo Challenge group. Our banana trees in New Orleans have really bounced back since the cold earlier in the year that took our many of them!
I'm trying an experiment again this time using slices of banana travelling through the air from banana skin to bowl after being sliced. Not bad for a first attempt, lots of room for improvement but that's what makes trying different things in photography interesting.

Summer almost has been gone here. Today very cloudly with lots of rain - so what to do? Time for indoor sports. The citizen in little world decided to practice their Skating skills in an unusual half pipe. But hey...a banana can do the trick as good as a classical half pipe :)

The bananas on the headdress symbolize virtue and guiltlessness that reigned in the Garden of Eden before the Fall of Man. They are additionally a further sign of riches as bananas were a remarkable sight in Brugge (Bruges). The daffodil (Narcissus pseudo narcissus), or "Lenten Lily" symbolizes rebirth and hope. The flower was likely purchased in the Brugge Markt – a marketplace since the year 958."
