This white-tailed deer fawn was hanging out with its mother but also enjoyed a bit of independence by wandering a bit away from her. Mama deer always had a watch on the little fawn though.

Thank you all who fave and comment on my photo'/video's,much appreciated. And thank you all for looking

Thanks to all that take the time to look and comment.

Last Summer I met some sika deer in a wildlife park. You may know some of them from two photos - one deer looked so seriously, the ohter one did just nonsense. Well, this cutie was also member of their herd. Isn't this face heartmelting?

I am starting to believe that all this cute stuff in SL is actually suppressed sexual desire ...

wishes you a great Sunday!

We had brilliant weather here and I used it for a lot of rowing, rock collecting and garden work!

This newborn white tailed deer fawn was hiding in the grasses. It lifted its head and smelled around and then went back down. Most of the time it was curled up in a ball. It is amazing how still they stay.

In the morning just before getting up, Freya can come into the bed for a moment, one of the best moments of the day (for all parties involved 😊)

Bambi 1942 opening scene

So, walking around her forest made me feel like I was intruding into the movie Bambi's opening scene. :p

You so have to come here and follow the forest trail and just run up. Then after that go down, all the way through the garden and pass the gates and just dive into the sunflowers.

It is the best thing ever and the amount of animals I bumped into. Totally fills your heart and soul.

Pikachuuu strikes again err, I mean..Bambi strikes again. Thy redhead goddess! :p

These two beautiful deer are a little wobbly but yet playful. For these little one's to just start there life is amazing. They find grass to eat and lay down after a hearty meal, but there youth is all to cute to watch

Whitetail Deer Fawn

Sweet doe at our Ridgefield wildlife refuge doing some grooming.

Columbian white-tailed deer, the population was recently reclassified from endangered to threatened. Part of this recovery has included the translocation of 88 Columbian white-tailed deer from the Julia Butler Hansen Refuge to the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. We are fortunate seeing them on occasion when visiting.

Thanks for your visit, comments, faves and invites. Have a great week.

Faon - Hautes Pyrénées

Il s'est arrêté un long moment à nous observer, rempli de curiosité et peut-être d'un peu d'appréhension. Puis, lentement, il s'est retourné et repartit en trottinant retrouver ses occupations.

One of the neighborhood fawns posing in our lawn. Backyard wildlife.

Bambi wanted milk but mama deer was wanting a break I guess. This was right before she kicked the fawn off with her foot.

These two White-tailed Deer fawns emerged from the woods following after their mother. The doe was already across the lawns and into the brush.

White-tail does, native to North America, rut in the fall and give birth in May or June. The fawns have white spots which means they are probably no more than 8 weeks old since this picture was taken in mid-July. They will lose the spots before the end of summer.
