Day 51/366 - The Letter R was the prompt for today. "Red"

Today's We're Here Challenge: Ballpoint Pens

Largest piece i've done in a long time - 22"x30"

Started it before I left for Portland (I was there from the 6th-13th). Just now finished it since i've been back. Will be moving there soon btw.

Fleeting lust.

My little sketch in my moleskine is a bit different, in which I have a speech bubble saying "i'm not interested anymore" and or "but I don't want to (in regards to having sex)"

Again, it evolved more so into the idea of the orgasm and how for men (or for me, at least) everything feels so good until the moment is over in which i'm left feeling sometimes uncomfortable and wishing I had never orgasmed in the first place. The lust doesn't last. The joy doesn't last.

I find the fetal position very comforting, and sleep in it often. I have another upcoming piece that will be involving the same position.

One finds many of these bunkers in the woods (and in some peoples' yards) in the Alsace region. This sketch required several sittings and I never really got it finished cause the weather changed and then the season changed.

This is my Pocket Filofax which I carry with me all the time. Diary, notebook, commonplace book, cash accounts … and lots more.

This slim Papermate ballpoint pen fits nicely in the rings, held there firmly by its clip. The photo was taken by me at Shere, near Guildford, of my wife Valerie; sadly she died in 2003.

This photograph, which comes to you by courtesy of the letter C, is my third picture for the February Alphabet Fun: 2020 group.

This old ball-point pen drawing (from the pre-Viagra era!) was really just an exercise in drawing tree bark.

I only later started seeing it as an example of the importance of maintaining a healthy balance of sunlight allocation.

Should I have included here a disclaimer, saying that it may not be so "family friendly"?

: )

Playing around with Three-color ballpoint pens. My inspiration for this was (and is) artist Nicholas V. Sanchez. Look him up on Instragram and other sites!

Is this a paralogical metaphor linked to a dead metaphor?

I keep this list in my notebook to remind me of what to pack when I go away, it continues over the page … but I don't necessarily take all of these things, it depends where I'm going and for how long.

referenced a bitch from an UO catalog

for Mihaku

11"x14"

I had to scan this in two parts because of it's size and because of that it looks a bit wonky to me. I tried my best to conceal the lines in which the two parts met (and fixed the blurriness/discoloration). A little bit of the right side got cut off. The majority of the right side of the table looks so yellow too. I don't know..I did my best to edit the scan(s).

Anyways, urgh, I hope you enjoy.
