See Emma fly.
(Okay, it's not technically flying. It's ballet, bitch!)
This photo series is from a project I did last year. It's the Sin in the City characters doing what they love and loving what they do.
This was about 34 years ago when I was young and strong and I could easily lift my partner at arm's length over my head❣️
Love Assembly Square's mirror but never gotten around to buying the panel piece. Managed to get two from a UK seller, glad it arrived quickly.
I still face a slight problem with the panels as they are smaller than 8 studs wide, so they slide around and sometimes get stuck behind each other. Other than that the design works pretty alright...

Didn't like the Dojo place in the original set, decided to transform it into a cute dance studio with lovely big glass windows... :D
A graceful ballerina captured mid-leap during a studio photoshoot, wearing a vibrant pink leotard and pointe shoes. Her sheer, flowing fabric trails behind her, creating an ethereal sense of motion and elegance.

8 German couples. Scribbling furiously, looking up and down..the only one who stood still for any reasonable length of time.. ie: 3 minutes max, was Becky, who features a lot, for that reason! She was teaching! A lot of fun..showed that moving figures isn't my forte! They all wandered over at the end to look. Recognised one another, amazingly..but posture and dress DO help. Giggles and chuckles galore!!!

Diane is definitely living her dream!! This photoshoot was meaningful for her, and I enjoyed it too...
This is Diane's first photoshoot, after studying at Arizona Ballet Theatre in Tucson for just one and a half years.
Miss Cecily asked me to do a series of photoshoots in Arizona Ballet Theatre's studios last Friday. Most were of her younger ballet students. Diane is interesting in that she is a beginning adult ballet student who has come a long way quickly.
Diane has quite a pointe shoe collection... Dancing en pointe has been a dream of hers for a good portion of her life... And now, under the guidance, first of Miss Jan, and now of Miss Cecily, Diane is doing it!! I consider this a special heartwarming project. I am very pleased to be helping in my own way...;))
This was my first time photographing dancers in the studio with a digital SLR camera... I learned quite a bit!

A delightful capture from a photo shoot of Miss Cecily's Friday Ballet Pointe Class. The class took place in Arizona Ballet Theatre's Studios, located at 2512 E 6th Street in Tucson, Arizona.
ABT's fabulous "Poetry in Motion 2015" will be performed on Saturday, June 6th, at 6pm & Sunday, June 7th, at 3pm. The performances will be in The Stevie Eller Dance Theatre on the arburetum campus of the University of Arizona in Tucson. I really recommend everyone attend. All the pieces are fantastic fun and quite exciting! And, there are only good seats in this excellent dance theatre.

Another image from the contemporary dance a while ago.
Two Elinchrom heads in 80cm softboxes at about 45° on the background. One 580EX II high and behind dancers sitting in a stage spotlight. The 580 isn't really there to light the model but to make the spotlight look like it is working rather than a dark blob. All triggered with RF-602 wireless.
Diane is definitely living her dream!!
