It was one of those wonderful moments when the sun picked out the small groves of ash and oaks, at the same time as the lake became totally becalmed. You always know these precious instants won't last so it's just a question of taking in the beauty and trying to capture a small fragment of the scene. Ballerina Lake is by Scott Matthews. We had a great few days in Snowdonia, I need to visit in Autumn more often.

My great friend Adriana, suggested she's always wanted to take pictures of a dancer on a remote beach, so Ballerina Lake, by Scott Matthews seemed perfect. After a good lie down on my driftwood bed the clouds started performing. I love that hint of dark menace over the near cliffs . For once I let the cliffs take centre stage and not the sky. This is for Adriana.
