On my drive in the Hill Country this past week, I found this really cool place called the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm. The docent volunteers continue to work the farm in period style (Late 1800s early 1900s). They grown food, can, butcher livestock, etc. It's a really cool way to discover our past and get a better understanding of how Texas was settled. I was fascinated...
