Actually this one was taken few weeks ago during St. Patrick's day parade in London. I think this one looks better in black and white, hope you like it :)
Pipe Bands need to play a few tunes to get their instruments steady then they can set about tuning manually and/or with the aid of an electronic tuner which gives a read out on a LCD showing the note, frequency and pitch position.

Flowers in hanging baskets adorn the main street and in nearby Grant Park there are several displays.

This bagpipe player was waiting to play for a couple when they exited the church after their wedding ceremony. We were just walking along the street so he played for us.
