Had a wonderful mini vacation in Goa, we just decided we had to go somewhere. I was in Goa 8 years ago in 2007 and really missed this place.
This is how seascape photo looks like minus ND filter, minus tripod, minus wide angle lens. Was sulking on why can't I carry a tripod atleast once on a vacation.
The blue behind is where she lives with her mum and baby brother -- Mum was selling scarfs etc, of which I did buy one or two. This was just on the path from baga beach -- I was told that these famiies come into the area for the summer to work, live every much in poverty -- and I got the feeling they were not well tolerated by the locals. A charitywe came in contact with helps these chldren by getting them in to education -- many are not regestered so therefore can't attend school. the charity aims to change this through education which in turns enables the children then to join societ and have more choice in their lives.

Tito's Lane Baga Beach pic 13 of 31: And here is another Thai massage centre, this one right on Tito's Lane on Baga beach, Goa. The bouncer in black called out to me from across the street trying to tempt me to come in, saying that he will give me a big discount if I come in. If a hefty bouncer or tout who is hefty enough to pound you to pulp calling out to you urging you to go for a Thai massage is your style, this this is probably the place for you. Now I don't know how many of the girls inside are really Thai- most massage parlours in India employ Thai- looking girls from the North East of India but having read of the myriad of scams in and around Tito's Lane, and the presence of rough looking bouncers standing in the way or inviting you in was enough to put me off the prospect of a Thai massage. Not for me, thank you. I will go elsewhere. The bouncers are probably there for a reason, especially considering the type of clientele- mostly from outside Goa- who visit these places, but for others, the sight of them is enough to imagine the worst and steer clear of any possible scams at such joints. Pity the girls working inside though. And no, I am not a prude, I do go for massages once in a while, but follow my gut about the massage place.
