Bob's bike on the back of Don's truck. East of Memphis, I discovered Bob's rear wheel bearing had failed. I called Bill Hagan, who gave me numbers for Mike Haven in Houston and Don Calcote in Memphis. Badabing badabop, and Don arranged to meet us at our motel in West Memphis the next morning.

The 16th Annual Salem So Sweet Chocolate and Ice Sculpture Festival took place on the weekend of Feb 9th thru 11th. It is an event done in Salem, Massachusetts the weekend before Valentine's Day (weather permitting).
There were 24 ice sculptures located around Downtown Salem. However... the weather was NOT good for ice sculptures as the temps ranged from 43 to 53 degrees (6C to 11C) while I was in Salem... so there was some major melting and pieces breaking off.
This year... all of the ice sculptures were illuminated at night. The lighting was provided by Retonica.
Of the 24 ice sculptures... I believe 12 of them had pieces broken off and other had some major melting issues due to the warm weather.
