This was totally her idea to have a portrait taken in our backyard in the hammock. I was a little skeptical at first b/c she always has ideas of how she wants me to photograph her. You know what, from this small chapter of our life in our backyard she gave me one of the best portraits, plus she even mentioned how soft the light was. RIGHT?!!!
She is graduating into kindergarten this yr, and has an eye for modeling poses all of sudden. Which is strange b/c I am usually out of sight and out of mind when I photograph her. Just amazes me what they pick up

So the McCoys have done it AGAIN, opening up their home and back yard for all of us to come and enjoy, sit back and relax and play music as loud as possible.
Fun I NEEDED more than anything...DO O-V-E-R
On a very warm Sunday morning the boys and I went outside after breakfast to build some snowmen. This shot doesn't do their height any justice as the large snowman on the left stands just over 6 feet tall. Check out this shot of the boys moving the large base into place. After all five snowmen were built we added the necessary carrots for noses and rocks for eyes, mouths, and buttons. To make this winter scene even more funny we added sticks to each of them pointed toward the fire pit. Each with its own actual marshmallow.
