An oldie but still a goodie -- the SureFire E1B Backup. There's just something about the single CR123 lights. Small and light enough to carry daily, but with plenty of power under the hood.
I don't really need a wireless hard drive, but this one can automatically copy files from a memory card. You can easily make a backup of your files on the way back from a photo session. Strange that other companies doesn't include this option in their external drives.

I wouldn't call this a "safe". The lock is too easy to pick. But the box is both fireproof and waterproof.
Local backups have the advantage of speed, data-ownership and Fourth Amendment protection. The problem with them is dependability in the event of floods, fires, locusts and other nuisances caused by supernatural deities with anger management issues. A simple, affordable box like this can take care of that problem.
All data is of course encrypted, which makes the lack of a strong lock acceptable.
