Control backup provides you cloud backup service which has backed up over millions of gigabytes of data for Mac and PC laptops, desktops and smartphones.
About 5 years ago I ripped all my music CDs to FLAC audio so I could then convert them to Ogg Vorbis or MP3 or whatever the format du jour was.
Just recently found out that some of the flac files on my hard drive are now corrupted - which is annoying.
Fortunately I took backups so instead of having to re-rip lots of music CDs I can copy files from DVDs.
Each disk holds around 8 albums and there are around 30+ so it's a pain but not as bad as re-ripping all my CDs.
