Backup and unedited jpg

I keep on getting "backup failed" messages for older sets while using this Flickr back up programm. Any other suggesttion?

The good old stop/go manually operated stick is a good backup... but you do need a (wo)man to operate it.

I'm old enough to remember that temporary roadworks traffic lights used to be wired! ...and run off a generator.
