Just a shot of the things that greeted my new students when they found their seats on the first day of school. The survivial books were made by my students from last year. Inside they tell what is important in my classroom, pet peeves of the teacher, what to expect, and how to have fun. I'll have to share some quotes from them sometime...my kids last year really worked at scaring this year's class a little bit. lol I almost forgot to add...they get to decorate their nametags, rather than having to buy those premade types that have all that junk all over them, like the alphabet and number lines.
