After a while I´m using a drone again. The new DJI Mini Pro 3 and I love it so far. Here you see a sunset at the Forggensee in Bavaria. Tiny at the backround on the feet of the mountains there are the famous castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.
Taken at Looe, Cornwall. A giant seagull perched near me. Edited in Lightroom to get the black backround.

Favourite subject, the drumhouse in Chwarel Dinorwig which has lost its roof in the last decade. Fortunately my hair is doing better, although the winding hut has a few years on me.
Taken in little light at the highest iso then manipulated to extract as much psychedelic colour from the granularity as possible - the starting image was effectively grey.

Mountains. They became to my life almost at the same time I began to deal with landscape photography. Until then the only I knew was the citylife. Since then, however, it is an integral part of my life. The mountains are not just stones and trees. There is a lot more. Personally, for me, it is an escape of my life. Just for no misunderstanding... My family is the beginning and end of my life, my starting point, my home. But in the mountains my mind clears from the problems of everyday life. In the quietness and loneliness of the mountains you face your fears, your soul calms, you know yourself. After a trip to a mountain I may return home tired, with body pains but I always feel that I made a restart. Perhaps it sounds strange to many of you, but I think that if someone has not wandered through the mountains, feel the cold, hear the sounds of nature at night, smell the perfumes of nature ... then he will miss "something" in his life. The mountain is wild, difficult, dangerous, but it is also magical, beautiful, miraculous and must exist in everyone's life !!!

The backround was made with pieces of one of my old journals, the raindrops were stamped, the land is china paper and I made the umbrella with watercolor.
For Project Soul Pancake: Stash A Secret
I kind of goofed on this week's theme, it was supposed to have us write out a secret weighing on our minds and then hiding it in a book, kind of releasing it out of our minds. Well, unless you call me being scared of birds a secret, then I kind of messed up this challenge!
Even though we don't have any snow yet, this was FREEZING! I don't know why I didn't bring a winter coat or mittens with me...duh moment!
