First shoot with new-found strobist techniques. TV personality Darlene Cahill, being shot for her web site and publicity purposes. Indoors, black backround. 45" umbrella camera right. white reflector camera left. Homemade snoot on boom stand for hairlight.Nikon SB-800 bounced into silver. 1/8th power on manual. F4.5 (she wanted narrow DOF) 1/250th of a second. She loved them!

The backround is one of my scans where they found the huge fibriod that resulted in the surgury..thank goodness...I thought it was cancer.

the backround is less than 0.5 sparks in 10 minutes. with some welding rods nearby it will increase to approx 10 sparks in 10 minutes. the spark detector is almost only alpha sensitive.
