Captured at Tilgate park on 1st June 2017. Canon 1100D with a Sigma 10mm-20mm lens set at 10mm. Exposure was 60 seconds at ISO1600. Mounted on a SkyWatcher Star Adventurer.
Light pollution on the horizon come from the distant villages of Cuckfield, Balcombe and Pease Pottage.
Humidity was very high and within 20 minutes the equipment was literally dripping. :(
Process was mostly done in Lightroom 6 and certain functions in Pixinsight.
Not far from the Square Mile, minus all the preserved history of the original City, but just as financial, just as busy and a large beehive of 'City' workers.
Demolition has started on this great old landmark. This shot was taken in July of 2008.

Of course, Venice, it is not only the handsome monuments, the luxury shops and the tourist spots … It's also thousands of workers, females and men, who feed this big touristic machine …
Here, on the foreground, you can see the barge who dispatches the TNT deliveries …

Bien sûr, Venise, ce ne sont pas seulement les splendides monuments, les magasins de luxe ou les sites touristiques ... C'est aussi des milliers de travailleurs, les femmes et les hommes, qui font tourner la machine ...
Some "backoffice" of interior tests with Mistveil "Whisper of Winter" Edition without ELFX.
It was a dungeon (I don't remember which one) and I liked how this spot was so dark, with just some candles to make light.

Ein Portrait "von hinten" ist wirklich mal ein außergewöhnliches Thema.
Mit Freude habe ich hierfür dieses Bild erstellt.
Ten Thousand Feet
A thousand pairs of feet step onto the platform, minding the gap. Immediately the carriage doors close, steel canisters of light disappearing noisily into the nameless tunnel. Slick handcrafted leather stamps impatiently behind novice neon stiletto heels, nine o’clock meeting urging abandonment of basic courtesy. Thoughtful bargain basement find, diligently polished, traces a hesitant route to a life-changing interview. Bewildered foreign sneakers hover behind, camera clicking away at the sight of it all.
A thousand pairs of feet clamber onto the escalator, the cacophonous clatter temporarily silenced. Relaxed moccasins with hairy shins mock grim worn-out backoffice wear. Yellow Wellies bully baby blue galoshes, while distracted maroon pumps worry about dinner and the refrigerator delivery. Encased plaster in loose sandal winces intermittently, stoic pride and project deadline overriding medical advice and common sense.
A thousand pairs of feet reach the turnstiles, magnetic cards working hydraulic magic. Grumpy work boots ponder plumbing intricacies and wiring challenges; flamboyant jack boots consider cappuccino flavours and novel choices. Teenage clogs dream of a future without obligation or responsibility; freelance brogues clip clop to a day of bills and professional promises.
A thousand pairs of feet leave the station, plotting trajectories on asphalt and gravel. Cultured gamashes greet suede sophistication on marble and granite. Across the road on wood and tile, sleepless slippers grumbles to unshod free spirit. Amidst soil and grime, caring walking boots toil to revive drunken trampled hopes.
A thousand pairs of feet march resolutely, saunter carelessly, dance feverishly, walking a thousand paths.
