Convolvulus sabatius is a low-growing shrub of the Convolvulaceae family, from North Africa. It was also previously known under the name of Convolvulus mauritanicus. A macro view.

Happy Easter everyone. This backlite hepatica is not an Easter Lily, but just as glorious. The early spring wildflowers symbolize the new birth of the season as does Easter.

Hiking the short river trail on a cloudy afternoon and noticed these pods "hiding" along the trail. A little snow, soft bokeh and backlite like it was intentional.

Heavily backlite i did overexpose a little and some editing :-) Isn't it typical that when a Cetti comes out into the clear is so often against the light
I generally have the wet moss behind the mushroom, but with the longer focal length and working distance of this lens, I switched it up. This was a single image at ISO 64. I should remember to bring along a neutral density filter, but I don't carry a bag. It's difficult enough getting through the thick brush in this area.
