...a detail from the cantilevered construction of the Howrah Bridge, over the River Hooghly in Kolkata, West Bengal. One of the busiest bridges in the world, it is said to carry over 100,000 cars, trucks, buses, taxis, tuktuks, rickshaws, bullock carts and bicycles every day. But the number of pedestrians constantly swarming across is even more astonishing, and apparently impossible to count - estimates vary from merely many tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands to several million people, every day of the year

Day of Action to save Net Neutrality
Friends and volunteers of Backbone joined a local protest as part of 600 actions outside of Verizon stores organized in a day of resistance to the FCC's plan to roll back Net Neutrality rules. With LED light panels the crowd said "WE ♥ NET NEUTRALITY."
The new chairman of the FCC, Ajit Pai was Associate General Counsel at Verizon Communications Inc., where he handled, among other things, regulatory issues. He just called a vote to kill net neutrality. On December 7, one week before the vote, we'll protest at retail stores across the U.S. and demand that Congress stop Verizon’s FCC from destroying the Internet as we know it.

Good crowd. Only pretend to be Germans to keep the Jews in place.
El Paso was rumored to have a major snow storm wipe us out on Friday and Saturday, but the most we saw were a few flakes and a lot of rain. I met my family up in the mountains, (where most of the snow/ice collected,) to get a few shots. This is one of my little sisters watching me take pictures of a frozen Ocotillo bush.
