...born thirteen years apart. This is my sister's son, Tim. He and Joe-Henry are SO much alike. Speech patterns, humor, intelligence. JH idolizes him, and I think it goes both ways. Spending time with them at the river's edge picking blackberries and skipping stones last night. I will treasure the memory always. Love these boys to the moon and backagain.

Have I changed...? Well... I think a bit of mascara and lipstick just helps getting over the 'age-edge' ;-)

At least I think it was the same one. A neighbour had plastered many flyers around the block asking if anyone had seen her cat. There was a picture of a very young cat. Younger looking than this one, but the colouring was very similar. I called the cell phone number and the neighbour wasn't even home, but she lived near this field, so probably the cat had come back, but this time the owner was away - for the afternoon at least. It was very difficult to get an image. She / he always ran away when I tried to approach, and was soon gone into the housing compound in the back. Sigh...
