This afternoon we were out of town, returning home via the old Route One, following the shoreline, passing through towns such as Guildford, Madison Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, etc. We were immediately attracted to this adorable signage and realized we needed a baby gift, so did a quick turn-around and went in to find exactly what we needed! Thought this would be cute for Window Wednesday! Have a Happy One, everybody!

I had a great time exploring the various shops, restaurants and fun spots in Cairo’s SunCity Mall.
SunCity Mall in my opinion is where shopping meets luxury and it transports you to a new level of shopping. The mall is also beautiful with it’s stainless columns to the crystal lit chandeliers. Here you will find many international brands like GAP, Mango, Nine West, H&M, Monsoon, BabyShop and Mothercare.
It is also the ultimate entertainment destination in Cairo. Who would have thought we can finally Ice-Skate in Egypt? Well YAYYY now we can with their newly opened Ice Kingdom featuring an indoor skating rink and an outdoor ice slide – a definite must try! I personally had a blast ice-skating and can’t wait to get on the slide :)
After my Ice-Skating experience I went over to Fun Kingdom where they have various “fun” activities not only for children but also for grown-ups who enjoy parks and games. It’s an entire entertainment center featuring a variety of rides, arcade games, bowling and the perfect birthday party room.
Last but not least in the heart of this mall lies Cairo’s best hidden secret hotel, the Gabriel Hotel. The Gabriel Award is a winning Boutique hotel hidden away from the chaos and traffic of everyday life. I saw their gorgeous rooms and tried out Salt restaurant and I must say the food was delicious! A mix of the finest French cuisine with a Mediterranean flare.

Get Pushed R10 saw me partnered with the lovely and talented "susivinh" who has a beautiful stream - the colours and perspective in her shots just wowed me and I loved everyone. Her Push for me was .....
As for your challenge... well, I noticed that unlike me, you don't have baby shots (unless you do and I happened to miss them), so my challenge is for you to shoot some baby or kid if baby is not available.
I did explain that there are no babies in my life - mine are well and truly grown, no grandchildren yet and no neighbours or friends with small children - but I did say I would give it a go. This has been so stressful and disappointing - trips to parks - baby shops just left me with some shots taken with my compact camera inside shops - once being asked what I was doing and if I would kindly put my camera away - I did not dare to take shots of children or babies as I am sure I would have been arrested. So my result is a right mess if I am honest - a couple of early shots of my two (my scanner broke to top it all) - their birth tags and some shots of their christening robes - and guess who the chubby baby done in charcoal is??? circa 1956 - sorry its such a pathetic result - in the end I just gave up slapped them altogether and thought time to move on. I do promise however, when one of my two presents me with a grandchild my stream will be full to bursting with beautiful baby shots. .
