Have a great weekend and thank you for visiting!

HSoS!

My friend visited us today, with her granddaughter, who had kicked her shoes off...not one to miss a photo opportunity, I quickly grabbed them, tied the laces and took a quick shot. I just love the wings and would have loved to keep the shoes!

One of my earliest postings.

Was looking for something else and came across this :)

For Looking Close… on Friday theme of pair of shoes, a pair of cute sandals from my Adora doll, Gretchen.

For this weeks Looking close... on Friday! group theme: Shoe Sole

I photographed a small pair of my daughter's baby shoes. (they look gigantic here - haha!). She's 18 now and she was watching me photograph them yesterday and we laughed as we compared them to her foot size today...haha! I miss the young years of my little ones...they are growing up, which I am grateful for, but I miss those baby years. It is so important to enjoy every moment as they grow up so fast! ❤️

Thanks very much for your visit! Have a great Friday and weekend ahead!

35/52: The weekly challenge - Shoes

Left to right are my eldest son's first shoes, my youngest son's first shoes, eldest son's first slippers and his first birthday present (a wooden bus with little wooden people). In front a pair of tiny shoe lasts.

I persuaded my husband to get them down from the loft as I wanted to use them for this theme, but then couldn't think how so just set it up a bit like a shoe shop display...not the best still life but job done and this obviously holds a lot of memories for me. My boys are now both in their thirties...how did that happen?

There is no footprint so small that it

does not leave an imprint on this world.

Thanks for views, faves and comments! ;-)

I couldn't think of anything for today's theme until now. These are my daughter's baby shoes which happen to be about 28 years old. They sit on a shelf in our office and I just noticed the circles. Never got them bronzed like I intended. :)

(Macro Mondays Theme: Circles. Both shoes side by side are 3.5".)

My most treasured things are my marriage of 58 years and the birth of my children. The photo shows my marriage rings, my children's ID bracelets given by the hospital at birth.

Smile on Saturday: Shoe Show.

Well worn Denim Blue baby shoes of my elder son on a bright orange crushed velvet top of mine:- 1970's style :)

The shoes I still have for sentimental reasons; the top is a good dress-up for little kids :)

The first baby shoes of my 15 years old son. They hold a special place in my heart and can't give them away.

Сколько пар крохотных туфелек оставлено в грязи Украины отважными сынами России? Сколько детей никогда больше не будут смеяться после того, как вы изнасиловали и убили их матерей?

Sometimes the parallels to what is happening now are too great.

Can you imagine a baby crawling around on an old wooden country-house floor? It's had to be rough on the 'ole baby shoes and knees! Here is a memory bronzed and captured forever!

“ Love is the foundation of a happy life. Knowingly or unknowingly we are forgetting this truth” she says. Amma on several occasions has said that it is important not only to feel love but also to express it. “ After all, love is our true nature. When we do not express love in our words and actions it is like honey hidden in a rock. “

Man, does time fly, heading into my 30’s in a few weeks….and still didn't grow up really...

The bronzed shoes are my husband's first baby shoes. The white ones are our son's first shoes. Bronzing was popular at one time but not by the time our sons were born. I find the changing 'crazes/fads' of different generations rather fascinating.

Usually by the end of the day I'm completely worn out. Every day is 100%, 100% of the time.

Feeling a bit weary, I was tidying up inside the hallway today, and I lined up the shoes.

When I saw them I kind of smiled, and felt good for just a moment, which probably makes no sense at all.
