Our Daily Challenge ... Old, Aged, Elderly.
This is Babe. She is an 18.5 year old Australian Silky. I gave her to my Mother for company in early 1999. When Mum passed away, Babe went to live with my brother's family and became close friends with their dog. When her friend went to "doggy heaven" she didn't like being home alone all day and so she came to live with us because we are retired. She settled in well, and although she is deaf and almost blind with cataracts she is content and happy. She finds those "young'uns" a bit of a challenge but she lets them know if they are getting too friendly or boisterous.
A color tweak on part of a burst series at Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park. This location is a “mind blowing” 282 feet below sea level. The color tweak was my attempt to enhance the water and background.

This fellow passed me on the way home yesterday. I saw him in my rear view mirror as he caught up to me on the 430 Bridge. He spotted my camera as I popped off this shot. You just know he's thinking "Don't you wish you were me?" Midlife crisis are so cliche.
