My mom came to visit for a few days and we had a couple of card making sessions together, which even included my two girls! I used the Aztech Stars embossing folder and sentiment by Brutus Monroe and the Happy Harbor stamp set by Reverse Confetti for this card. The tag die is by Taylored Expressions and that stitched flag die is by LDRS. Isn't that little whale the cutest ever?!

Aztech Labs is a small, highly-focused non-profit organization founded by two brothers, Zach and Aidan Hunter. Aztech Labs was founded when Zach was 12 years old and Aidan was 9. We’re focused on making clean water available to people in poor communities. We have two specific goals. Our first goal is making water filters available to communities in need. Our second goal is helping to improve the design of low cost water filters.

My mom recently spent a few days here, and we had so much fun making cards while the kids were in school. She had recently made a cute card that used lavender and aqua and I liked the color combo so much that I did the same! I used an embossing folder by Brutus Monroe (Aztech Stars), and a butterfly die by Memory Box called Butterfly Swell. The Memory Box die has three butterflies that form a border or cut-out, with the butterflies inside. Since I only wanted one butterfly, I fussy cut it out of the main die. I also used a Polaroid frame die by Penny Black and stamps by Fiskars. The sentiment is from the Birthday Bunnies set by Memory Box.
