Never owned a lens wider than 28mm (or equiv) so i went for the 24mm as it's a nice compromise between looking not too wide but not as restricting as 28mm.
Decided to invest in a Nikon FE system as it is highly praised and a much better compact 35mm SLR than my error prone Pentax ME Super. Body is brassing but that just means i'm not going to be babying it. Had Dave at Aztech Services replace the foams seals and mirror foams for £15, he also tightened up the loose rewind crank as well.

Unsure of this lens but i wanted a lens that covered this range at f/3.5 so it's ideal. I rarely shoot over 50mm anyway but it's nice to have the mid-tele range covered should i need to. I might still buy a 100mm 2.8 Series E or a 135mm 3.5 AI in the future though as the zoom creep on this lens is annoying and this is a good example of the lens.

Got this as i was curious about trying an old manual focus Nikon lens on my DSLR and this is about the cheapest one around, it's also tiny. It's hopelessly soft at f/1.8 but works fine at f/2.8 or higher, it's ergonomically a mess with a tiny and somewhat stiff focus ring.

Straight from Nosferatu to your toy shelf, Mr. Knock is NOT named "Knock Renfield," though he plays a nearly-identical role to Renfield from Dracula. This is probably why they put that on the toy packaging.
Knock was a real-estate agent and the boss of Thomas Hutter, the Jonathan Harker-esque hero of Nosferatu. And he was a pretty decent guy until he read a letter from the vampire Orlok; a piece of parchment covered in occult symbols which drove him insane ahd forced him to send Hutter on an ill-fated mission to Romania. Knock managed to get himself locked in an insane asylum, after which he developed a taste for eating bugs, as he asked, "Cannot man also be a vampire?" Though he never got to meet his vampiric master face-to-face, knock serves a pretty large role in the film, violently escaping his cell and being blamed for the plague that Orlok brought to Wisborg.
This toy totally doesn't look like he did in the movie (small, bald, and pudgy), but does that matter?

This lens came with the camera and was full of dust, i managed to take it apart and remove 90% of the dust so it's much nicer now. It's a much nicer lens to use than the Series E though i can't see any difference in image quality as it's also hopeless at f/1.8 so i'm guessing they share the same lens design.

I also replaced the old K screen with a K2 screen so it's much brighter now.
This is the stuff that comes with Orlok - and hey, try to guess how many times I've used that wall!

This is the rare Purple Pig. Captured by the famous wildlife photographer Frank F. Foto.
He has been stalking the rare pig for years. He finally spotted it in the deep Aztech jungle.
Seconds after this Photo was taken the pig darted back into the jungle, no doubt to reunite with its mate.
They are rarely seen alone.
Hopefull Frank will be able to get more Photos in the future.
The toy actually turns dark purple in sunlight, but it's a weird shade of purple that does not show up on a camera. Creepy, eh?
