The AWS-201 Lophius is the improved version of the AWS-101 Sea Talon. The Sea Talon as being the first amphibius unit, had many flaws, like leakage when diving under the 30 m in the sea, low ground speed, and weak frame. These flaws were solved in the Lophius. The frame was reinforced, the water jet engines where improved, along with the rocket thrusters. These improvements ended by increasing both the land and under water speed. The 36 mm chest machine cannons were removed to improve the frame, the other weapons remained the same.

Some more from 2021. This extremely obscure beastie was seen at the Bubble Car Museum in Lincolnshire. Apparently the German company only made 1700 of them between 1973 and 1974.
