A Hive is a dispenser and tactical AI which communicates with drones housed inside. These drones are launched en-masse from small magnetic rails. A full compliment of 1,280 drones can be dispersed within 2 minutes, after which point they have 18 minutes of flight-time. Remaining drones may be recycled back into the system via the same magnetic rails. The dynamic movements of a swarm are called murmurations, which are programmed to confound hostile tracking systems.
In military applications, swathes of 20mm drones will flood an airspace, flush out soft targets, and intercept large-calibre projectiles. Non-lethal charges may be used to subdue combatants without endangering human lives, or 'Faraday' drones can form an airborne lattice which disrupts enemy communications.
Despite these myriad applications, the profound implications of such a powerful tool have not been properly examined.

This seems to be in our future and I'm both fascinated and terrified. As usual C&C are much appreciated, thanks!

Sold as the Morris J2, Austin J2 and Austin 152, the 15cwt was BMC's first unitary construction van. Also available as a pick-up, minibus or in chassis form, which was popular for the construction of these motor caravan bodies. The two variants were distinguishable by the frontal styling, the Morris having a pressed steel, inverted heart shape grille as seen on the J type and LD vans, while the Austin had a plainer more rectangular front grille. Originally powered by a 1489cc B series engine, replaced in 1961 with the 1622cc engine when re-designated J2-M16. Diesel versions were also offered, In 1967 it was redesigned and uprated to become the JU.
