See that? That's the best thing in the entire world on my wrist. I'm so lucky. Utsu is made of win, seriously. But we all already knew that, duh.

Michelle of Dancing Dog Dye Works created this colorway for my kiddo!

It's named Shoot for the Stars Jake~

She surprised me with a skein and included red lollipops (his fav color) and a zombie finger puppet, cuz I ♥ zombie flicks.

Michelle is made of awesomesauce - I LOVE this bright, vibrant, fantastically fun yarn - it will make a great monster or super cute monkey!

Apparently I like to dress up boys when I drink. Accessories make the outfit!

Technically this was paired with the sausage, but if you follow this link you'll understand why it was so awesome: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar7afdfBHj4

Checked out the Monroe park court today. It was basically a circle with three hoops so shit was lit. Im sure some dope ass three team games have been played fosho. | At surface value it’s a pretty shitty court: it’s not even a regular court, there’s no three point line, no free throw line the ground is cracked and hella uneven, double rims, and those turtle shell ass backboards. | After playing for maybe 2 hours I was able to get past the first impressions and find upsides. Although double rims suck ass they’re great for your jumper. Since they’re so unforgiving you’re really put into a position where you have no choice but to lock in on how to put the ball exactly where it needs to be. I found myself taking many many close shots just really committing the right jump shot to muscle memory. Once you get the stroke down you start going on streaks of just straight swishes every time and it’s fucking awesomesauce. The nets were also had a good swish sound which is always a plus. I also really appreciated the turtle shell backboards. Similarly to the double rims since there’s no corners it’s a lot harder for layups. Practicing layups on it is great because you have to put the ball in ways you wouldn’t normally do on a regular backboard. This really helps to prepare you for performing layups around defenders where you definitely will be forced into an uncomfortable position. The scenery was also very nice. It was in the middle of a neighborhood so it was surrounded by nice homes that all had cool lighting. I absolutely love playing in towns like these it feels so peaceful. | Ultimately, I really enjoyed the court. I spent a lot of the time getting my jump shot down and I’m definitely feeling a lot more confident in it! I also feel that I’m getting a lot better at being able to spin the ball off the board in which is hype. But while it can translate to positive progress in practicing, Its obviously not gonna top a normal regulation rim and backboard. I definitely think I would go back whenever I want to cement the jumper but there’s 100% bigger and better fish out there. Thank you for reading if u did! -2D
