Thanks to Nick, Leone and Claus you made my rez day so fun! Ended the evening with Maiden (Rebel Yell Concerts Group). Well, we listening to them- it was too much lag to see them properly. Nick had made new leg tattoos for me, and I got some smexy giftcards.
Love this little Bee. I am not so great at Bee identification but this might be a type of Long-horned Bee?

Hello my friends, thank you very much for your visits and all your beautiful photos on Collins Land.
A place like Collins Land is useless if no one visits, it is you who make this place live ;)
Do you see the awesome complete Collins Land video? Directed by the talented Kelie: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HmXvnphZtI
Do not miss the visit of Collins Land by Inara Pey, a delight to read with sublime photos: modemworld.me/2017/07/09/an-oriental-collins-land-in-seco...
Another big thank you to everyone;)

This is one of my own absolute favorite pictures! I captured it at the beautiful place Creux du Van in Switzerland. I didn't know where to start taking pictures of this beautiful sunrise, but then I found this unnaturally grown tree. It was the perfect element for my picture!
Check out my YouTube Channel for all of my videos I make during my travels, like Timelapses to some of my pictures!

Home of the Museum of the American Indian, a division of the Smithsonian. I almost did not go into the building as the first thing you see in the foyer are portraits of both Trump and JD Vance resting on two easels. It just made me nauseous, But I asked if there had been portraits of President Biden and Vice President Harris during the previous administration, and the security guards said yes.
As many of you know, I use a mobility scooter to get around the city and in every museum. I am usually just whisked through. Although of course I’m happy to present my camera bag or my pocketbook or anything else that I have on me that security would like to see. But generally speaking people just let me through. Not here. It was like a TSA screening with a wand and full body pat down, a thorough search of the scooter, etc.. It was ridiculous. I don't remember ever having such a "thorough" search on previous visits. But I love the rotunda and being a quiet day, I was optimistic. I could get some good shots. Indeed I did.
You can learn more about the museum here: americanindian.si.edu/visit/ny
There's a block of C4 on the door, but you can't see it because I messed up the angle of the shot, but of all the shots I took that day, I liked this one the most, so here it is!
Even if some memories are painful, sometimes a look at the past and feeling the change helps on progressing and looking for the better and better.

-Totally Awesome
Awesome is an overused word, but the power of Storm Imogen truly was awesome. I wasn't going to post any more images of the waves I witnessed last Monday, but I've been going through some shots I took in Brighton yesterday and was struck by the incredible contrast, so I thought I'd do just one more.
Driving across the Black Mountains, as we came to the brow of the hill this was the view in front of us, we just had to stop to take a photo.
This photo will be featured in Wales Online in the Western Mail's Postcard of Wales feature (on the daily Letters page) on Saturday, May 21st 2016.
I don't find these beauties often.....fantastic Antmimic Spider at Patuxent refuge. Castianeira longipalpa?
The waters rose, and the tides shifted. Everything that we knew and loved about the world before the collapse disappeared under the steadily rising green murk.
As if green murky water and rapidly vanishing coastlines didn't suck enough, some cosmic god with a funny sense of humor threw zombies into the mix.
So on top of a low food supply, and very little potable water, we got something that wanted to eat our brains as the Pièce de résistance.
Welcome to The Blockhouse, enjoy your stay. As short as it may be...

▶ WHAT IS EXPLORE?
"Explore is a Flickr feature with the intent of showing you 'some of the most awesome photos on Flickr.' Photos are automatically selected by computer according to a secret algorithm called Interestingness. The top 500 photos ranked by Interestingness are shown in Explore.
Flickr has stated that many factors go into calculating Interestingness: a photo's tags, how many groups the photo is in, views, favorites, where click-throughs are coming from, who comments on a photo and when, and more. The velocity of any of those components is a key factor. For example, getting 20 comments in an hour counts much higher than getting 20 comments in a week.
Is Explore a showcase for the top Flickr photographers? No. It's for photo viewers, not the photographers. It exists so that, at any moment, anyone who wants to view interesting photos can go to Explore and have a reasonable chance of seeing something interesting.
Does that imply that photographs not in Explore are uninteresting? Of course not. Many wonderful photos are uploaded to Flickr each day not selected for Explore. But, to serve its purpose, Explore only includes a small sampling of all of the photos on Flickr, showing photos from many different people to create a diverse selection."

Participated in the everyday messenger bag Kickstarter by Peak Design. Got the bag two weeks ago (finally!) and have to say it surpassed my expectations: it's really awesome!
It has lots of space for two bodies and few lenses + 15" Macbook etc but one can overstuff it to be too heavy :D
The bag is really well thought and has minor details that helps when photographing. Highly recommended! If Peak Design creates a good backbag, I'll buy it, too!
