This is part five of RebelLUG's latest collaboration, The Laceropes Mission. For the videos and the complete story with command log readings, please check out rebellug.com/laceropespics .
"Command Log - Laceropes Mission - Entry 0005
“We’ve entered an abandoned mineshaft below the surface. The cavern is massive; some of the old mining equipment is still here. Most of the lacertosus mines are collapsed from
such intense strip mining. It decimates the surface of the planet when it finally does collapse, but this one appears to be safe for the time being. We need to get past enemy lines as the battle above is too chaotic to do that safely."

After much anticipation, the Laceropes Mission has been released! Please go check out all the parts and show my fellow builders some support! The link to my part is in my bio. I just want to say that this collaboration has been a whole lot of fun! It was definitely an eye-opener to see all these amazing MOCs in person during BrickWorld Chicago at the RebelLUG display, it really added to the experience of participating in a collaboration such as this. Overall each MOC flows really well with the others and helps to portray the story that we had created. Huge thanks to @avfigures for making the amazing Validus squad customs, which are unique to our collab. More pictures are on the way!

Echo and Fives return to Kamino after a mission with the 501st Legion.
Echo and Fives figures made by Clone Army Customs and the Kamino Minifigure is made by AVfigures
Hey guys,
I'm back now in 2020 with my first post being the newest update I made to my Infantry Support Platform. This updated version includes more accurate twin blaster cannons as well as some small details for more accuracy plus some recoloured parts. The ISP this time also features two amazing printed phase I 501st Clone Trooper which are made out of AVFigures 501st LEGO style printed bodies as well as of DKCollectables 501st printed phase I helmet.
I hope you guys enjoy the post!
It's been a while. Honestly I use Instagram and YouTube 90% of the time now... if you want to keep up with what I'm doing I recommend following one of those. Despite that I'm really happy with how this guy came out so I had to post him over here too. Thanks to AVFigures for the incredible Mando helmet cast.
A little scene I threw together after i received my 332nd trooper! It's heavily inspired by David Hall (solidbrix studios) Mandalore. The figure uses waterslide decals from AV figures. They create some of the highest quality custom figures i have ever seen! Please check them out it you have a moment :) avfigures.com/

Many of us stopped making clones a long time ago, but Andrew never stopped and has since mastered the art of custom clone making. His waterslide decaled clones are by far some of the best this community has ever seen. The work he does today is what we could only dream about as kids, and this is only one of the many reasons behind why I decided to have Andrew handle the clones for this project!

Bly was always one of my favorite clone commanders as a kid, so he definitely was not to be excluded from The Clone Wars 10th Anniversary showcases!
mostly to show off these clones I painted, really getting back to my roots now, thank god I ditched the sharpies 😬 fives was a black avfigures helmet i spray painted, decaled the visor and vents the rest is hand painted his torso is decaled with a reg p2 decal, then I sculpted his chest armor and painted it, arms and legs are fully painted. Rex is a av figs helmet I painted over all the blue so it would match, his torso is the 2010 clone torso I painted the weld lines on arms and legs are fully painted. Doom I painted his torso and helmet a base of green, gray, and brown then decaled over the top with a regular p2 decal, and painted his insignia and scuff marks, his Kama I repainted so it would match arms and legs are fully painted. All cloth is by @avfigures .
"It was hot, it was sandy, chaotic. Nothing at all like the simulations on Kamino. Of course that's pretty much the way it was for all of us, wasn't it? All that breeding, all those years of training... it doesn't really prepare you for all the screaming or the blood, does it? Frankly I'm still amazed we ever made it through the first hour, never-mind the first day."

"On Felucia, the Seps dug their metal heels into the muck of that alien hellhole and dared the Republic to come in after them. So we did, only to be met with the month after month of flesh-eating diseases, shrieking nocturnal predators, and other sights that haunt me to this day. Cut off and for all we knew abandoned by our superiors, our only hope was Aayla Secura, our Jedi commander. Without her iron will, none of us would have come out of that mess with our sanity, or our lives. When her death came, I hope it was quick. She earned that much."

The majority of this figure was decalled using a combination of AVFigures’ Realistic P2 501st Trooper and Animated P2 Arc Trooper Echo decals. I then painted over some parts with pavement gray, followed by other details. The fin on the P2 helmet was sanded before applying a strip of blue decal. -
•
His robotic arm is made using a Brickforge arm, LEGO lever piece, lightsaber piece, Christmas ornament wire, 2 mm magnets, and additional sculpting. The armor on his left hand is made with electrical tape and decalled with excess blue print. -
•
The head is a Legolas head from Lord of the Rings that I then modified. -

Leave your thoughts down below. I would appreciate it!
7+ months in the making. It’s felt like a lifetime.
The Mandalorian S2 customs are all finally done. Actually finished them like a month ago almost, but the showcase video took a while to put together and some other things came up too.
Okay here we go:
Ahsoka’s headpiece was sculpted onto a heavily sanded Clone Wars headpiece from LEGO’s classic minifig of her. Painted face was inspired by @phoenixcustomsllc and her lightsabers were designed by @baconking_lego then printed by @natesminifigs. Curved torso by @arealightcustoms as well. The sanding and painting processes were very long and tedious for this entire figure. Ahsoka is one of my favorite customs I have ever made even though it was far more difficult than expected.
Bo-Katan’s fully painted helmet is a cast of @lm9_production’s piece by @forge510 with a painted rangefinder from @avfigures. Torso and knee armor were printed by @natesminifigs with the rest sculpted by me. Straps were cut from CapeMadness fabric waistcapes. Westar 35 blasters by @BrickArms. The painting process for Bo was really fun actually and her helmet’s battle damage is nearly 100% screen accurate. She features an unmasked head too with a modded hairpiece AstarBricks sent out to me (not pictured).
Boba Fett’s armor pieces are all printed by @natesminifigs too. Rangefinder is mounted with micro magnets. 3 bits of thread were installed inside his right gauntlet and glued under his hollowed out right shoulder pad. @_broston on Instagram really saved me a hassle by pointing out details with Boba’s pants / “waistcape” that had gone unnoticed be me. Redid those fabric elements last minute after having painted most of the leg detail. I painted his entire head to match with the burns/scarring seen on him in The Mandalorian S2 before his bacta treatment coming up (not pictured). Boba’s also sporting a @brickarms reloaded EE-3 with a little bit of painted detail by me.
Luke was much simpler: modded @natesminifigs hood, sculpted hairpiece, and a lightsaber I painted from @omv_minifigs. The rest was just me struggling to glue all the fabric pieces in place after being a little rusty. Painted robe designs are largely inspired by @lm9_productions as well.
Koska Reeves and Axe Woves are both intentionally unfinished "half customs." Didn’t have time to make full-on proper customs of them, but @natesminifigs & @lm9_productions’ parts really enabled me to still make a couple simpler versions to support Bo-Katan. Unlike Bo however, Koska features @natesminifigs shoulders/gauntlets instead of sculpted ones. Axe Woves also has the full kit from @natesminifigs too. His arms and legs were left intentionally inaccurate.
The Mandalorian V2 only features a few new changes: painted @coldblood_custom helmet, painted beskar spear by @tuminio, & new printed gloves from @eclipsegrafx. Really wish I had time to redo the torso but... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Dark Troopers were printed by @custombrickbuilder including their blasters. To me, these are still by far the best Dark Troopers to ever come out of this community and they were really cool to work with despite all the prep work required.
I honestly couldn’t tell you why this project took the better part of a year to complete, because I genuinely don’t know where the time went. Sure, I stopped for a while to make Justice League customs in March, and was away working in CA for most of the summer, but 2021 has really been the fastest year I have ever experienced in my entire life. Going through the footage of starting these figures and realizing it was apparently 10 months ago really freaked me out?
Over all that time though, each figure presented new/unique challenges and often ungodly amounts of work that I frankly wasn’t prepared for (especially on Ahsoka).
It was still so worth it. The Mandalorian S2 was very special, and to me it would always be worth celebrating at any given time. The season gifted us with the live action debuts of Cobb Vanth, Bo-Katan, Ahsoka, Boba Fett’s return with Fennec Shand, Dark Troopers, and of course Luke Skywalker. Never once did I think we would see so many amazing appearances from that many iconic Star Wars characters naturally woven into an 8-episode story like that. What LFL achieved with The Mandalorian S2 was amazing and unprecedented.
Would I have loved to make even a half custom of Cobb Vanth or Fennec Shand? Absolutely, but it’s finally time to move on from this and get back to MCU customs again. I’ve been missing it a lot this year...
The Mandalorian S2 project would not have been possible without NatesMinifigs, LM9 Productions, Tuminio, and all those mentioned above. Huge thanks once again to everyone who contributed directly/indirectly.
Can’t tell you how much I appreciate those of you who still stick with me. Your continued support of me and the work through these long stretches of content droughts really does mean a lot. It’s one of the biggest reasons I still do this. Thank you so much for being so incredibly patient. I’d love to hear what you think of the finished customs in the comments here.
Moving onto Spider-Man: No Way Home next!

sadly photos don’t do these figures justice, mix of official prints, paint and decals. every helmet is mostly if not fully painted because I’m not good at full coverage decals. Wreckers body, all arm decals and echos Kama are by @avfigures crosshairs and hunters helmet by @natesminifigs
Fresh outta Mandalore is Captain Vaughn, commander of the 332nd legion during the Seige of Mandalore! This figure uses a Clone Army Customs helmet, visor, and sniper, with decals from AV figures. Finals are fInAlLy overrr....Been getting back into Clone Wars stuff, really excited for Season 7 when it comes out :)
From left to right:
Anakin: Gave him the legs from the new CW Anakin fig from Anakin's Jedi Starfighter, I think it fits him really well! Brickforge lightsaber handle and blade, Draco Malfoy head. Definitely my new favorite combo for Anakin :)
Captain Rex: Got a misprinted Rex from AVFigures and put the fig's arms, helmet, and cloth accessories onto a standard Lego clone. Really happy with this fig, probably one of my favorite Lego Star Wars figs in my collection! The helmet is really darn sweeeettt :)
Ventress: Got the 2008 Ventress torso, added dual molded arms and the new dress piece, I think it works out pretty well.
Obi-Wan: Remember that Clone Wars arc on Mandalore where Obi-Wan had a neat set of Mandalorion armor? I really dig that look for him, and I didn't have any Death Watch Mandos, so I made him with Lego's blue Mando parts instead.
Commander Gree: Made him some custom kama and leg armor, printed out a template and put some heavy duty construction tape over it, I think it works pretty well. Nothing too special though, probably my least favorite out of the bunch :/
What do you guys think? I know I say this all the time, but comments really are very much appreciated! :)
Decal design is by Avfigure and i apply it of course and i used electric tape for pauldron and karma and cut it and painted

AVfigures decals used here to make the ARF Teth troopers shown here. Hope you like it more pics on my Instagram ari23_ww2
So glad to learn that the new TV-play [the Bad Batch] is going to release in Disney+ 2021, just got my MFs DIY done with AVfigures 99 squad DIY pack.
Still, I prefer to have my own style of "limited MoC", to consist the MF style with other clones collection, except Tech, which is better to have torso side print on such whit base
AVfigures slight modified LEGO 11217 helmet as prototype and casting it with resin (not ABS plastic) for BARC helmet, I applied their decal as well, to represent Commander Neyo and ARC-77 Fordo, but to consist with my large number of clone troopers' collection, not adhered all set, just limited MOC then.
Hey guys, here's a slew of updates for ya.
I'm relatively inactive on flickr, but I frequently post of Instagram and use that as my primary base now. If you haven't already, follow me @avfigures!
I'm undergoing a rebranding process and will be relaunching my website this Sunday. It will be completely redesigned and will feature my decals, decaled figures, and soon, PRINTED figures! I'm about to get my clones printed, so keep an eye out for those. They will be the most detailed clones on the market.
I've also invested a pretty hefty sum on equipment like a vacuum chamber for resin casting; I've got a LOT of resin casted projects in the works at the moment (including a restock on those Kylo Ren helmets), so look forward to seeing more casted products in the near future.
Lots of things are changing, but it's all for the better. Looking forward to being able to reach more people with my products and continuing to contribute to this community!

In my head canon, Doom fulfills his promise to destroy Kang—all of them. The Kang Dynasty’s assault at the End of Time is interrupted by a sudden breach from Earth-828. Doom has come to end this infinite menace.
A multiversal war cut short.
________________________
Had a really good time editing this one while visiting the awesome @avfigures HQ last week. Hate how everything fell apart with the Kang story in the MCU. An infinite threat unspooling all timelines? I was so excited to see it all play out after Loki S1.
Had the Jonathan Majors situation not happened, Kang absolutely could have been on Thanos’ level for the MCU had they not botched the Multiverse Saga (Ant-Man 3 ). A recast still would have been a better call. That’s assuming if they actually could contractually 📑
Even if we can’t see it in real life, we can always make it in LEGO.
If you’re curious, yes I did paint up the cloak, mask, & arms on one of XINH’s Doctor Doom bootleg minifigs. All Kang variants are also bootlegs just with @firestartoys’ head.
The head is modified from LEGO’s Mera minifigure.

The hair is shortened and bent to accommodate the sculpted chest.

The pieces on her arms and legs are made with electrical tape.

She’s equipped with Tiny Tactical glove tops.

Sculpting progress:
1. The honey comb pattern comes from an ASUS 11 C202SA Chromebook.
2. The pattern was molded using Blue Stuff.
3. Using the Blue Stuff mold, I casted it with Green Stuff to the point where it was almost paper thin. For the pattern to wrap around the limbs, I used @avfigures Commander Fox decals and traced those shapes onto the Green Stuff pieces to be cut out.
Afterwards, the shapes were glued on, making sure each of the pieces were paired accurately with one another. -
Here's a comparison between Clone Army Customs' and AvFigures' 327th Star Corps Trooper. CAC on the left, AVF on the right. The AVF is a decaled figure, and CAC is pad printed. In my personal opinion the AVF is better because more detail and cheaper cost, with the drawback of having to self-apply the decals.
Rare crosspost from my custom minifigs endeavour to Flickr here, but this is a passion project I want to share.
The set is available for pre-order here.
