Huntington Castle has a very impressive avenue with very, very old trees including beech that are hundreds of years old. Yesterday was a lovely day where the light and shadows enhanced the experience of walking on this wonderful avenue with such luscious greenery, magnificent trees and castle.
Keep up everyone!
I know I don't normally multi post but this is the same location taken earlier in the year. A lovely Spring morning, I had just been to a nearby bluebell wood. The vibrant yellow rape seed was alongside.
It had been three years since I was last year and thought it was a time for a re-visit www.flickr.com/photos/moodyfan517/30910530573/in/datepost...
I was looking for a particular image (still haven't found it) but I came across this instead. I think I worked on it at the time and then abandoned it Sometimes you can't remember what you were thinking of a few years ago.

Beach tree avenue, Moor Crichel, Dorset
Having had my memory jogged by a photo from Christine down South (www.flickr.com/photos/christine192) I set off for the Beech Tree Avenue at Moor Crichel a couple of weeks ago, The light wasn't great and no mist so wasn't sure whether to post this or not but the trees were a lovely colour and it was nice to see the variation in colours from green to orange to yellow all in the same shot. Had to up the ISO to get a fast enough shutter speed as there was a bit of a breeze.
Good luck England ⚽!

Taken at an avenue called Östra esplandaden in my hometown Arvika, Sweden. I have been waiting for the autumn colors to arrive so I could take a photo of this grand avenue. A bonus that someone came along walking so I could include a human element in to my photo.
A year ago I took a photo of this avenue that has become my own favourite. --
So I looked back in memory for any others of that time I wanted to share.
Here's the first.
This was before I was stopped by the RAF police, or knew how sensitive they were about their trees. (I was on a public footpath.)
We had rain last night so we had some fog this morning. Hubby and I headed out early!
I really like the way this shot came out~hope you enjoy it as well
This is a picture I've had in mind for some years and I finally got round to giving it a go this week. It is a slightly different view of the much photographed avenue at Kingston Lacy taken as the last light faded. A bit of trial and error with the length of exposure and cars coming towards me versus going away from me etc. Ultimately, I decided that this was about right for what I was looking for.
It was a 13 second exposure.
