Aircraft was constructed in 1942 at the castle Bromwich factory in the UK and has served with sevral different squadrons but while serving with 501 squadron scored 6 of its confirmed kills with squadron leader Geoffrey Northcott as the pilot.
Aircraft is now in the colours of 402 Squadron City of Winnipeg RCAF

"Lufthansa Cargo 8350" arriving into Dublin Airport 15th March 2022 on the inaugural Frankfurt - Dublin - Manchester - Frankfurt service, using recently converted Airbus A321 OE-LES with FlyNiki & Eurowings. Now operated under the Lufthansa Cityline branding for Lufthansa Cargo.

The Bristol Type 170 Freighter was a British twin-engine aircraft designed and built by the Bristol Aeroplane Company as both a freighter and airliner. Its best known use was as an air ferry to carry cars and their passengers over relatively short distances.

a selfie idea that i had in my head for a while, showing my passion for avaition spotting, and finally managed to go out and shoot, which was the last chance before the end of winter. All that was needed was some snow on the ground, sun in the sky, landings on 06L and the last four-engine we get on a regular base at YUL (AF A340). The rest is all preparation and spotter's luck that makes the magic moment happen

Colas Rail Freight 56302 'PECO' thunders passed Allandale near Bonnybridge on the 12th July 2020 whilst working 6M80 1836 Grangemouth Ineos to Sinfin Sdgs with a rake of TDA wagons in tow carrying avaition fuel for the Rolls Royce factory in Derby.
This is the first working back under Colas Rail Freights control after they won the contract from DB Cargo UK earlier in the year. The start date being delayed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
