The woods were lovely... a Border Collie overtook me, on the inside, I may add, photo-bombing my picture - but I like him there so why not?

I won't go into the thinking behind the ongoing construction of the High Speed 2 (HS2) line which is costing at least £106bn and rising... No, this is the local railway line which once brought me back from work in Birmingham City Centre to my local station. I've always meant to take a picture of it from the railway bridge about a mile from home and now I have ! Love the autumn colours here.

Here we are, back in Sutton Park, after so many days of rain, we had absolutely wonderful sunshine ! The few people Marnie and I met were all in a good mood - wonderful with all the gloom and doom around the world. The most superb get-away, just for a little while.
