Nearing the end of a 6 hour race and showing it.

Edwardian racing cars at Mallory Park.

My brother Allan having a great time at Sebring. He wasn't a listed driver, but was a mechanic. Here he's taking a spin after performing some kind of work on the car. He never did get a chance to drive in "The 12 hours of Sebring", but he did get a huge kick out of actually driving around the course on several occasions in the days leading up to the race.

Scanned from an 8x10 glossy print. I wish I had all the photos he brought back from that trip. I was twelve years old at the time and was lucky to have stuck this in a book, then forgot about it. I found it several months ago while going through a bookcase.

Kind of quiet over here this morning. I found Tony's hammer, though.

Wonder what this is like inside the car. They removed these rumble strips and put in less aggressive for the 2024 session. NASCAR had data from The Glen indicating these rumble strips were not safe for the drivers brain.

How can you see this car and not think of Paul Newman?

Through the fences at the Inner Loop and kinda noisy but in an artistic way?

Night time at the Rolex 24. The night is filled with roaring sounds of the car racing around the track. So much of the sights are muted. This Ferris wheel was so beautiful at night, but what hear are the engines racing by.
