Duaineās automotive repair is now under investigation by the Nevada DMV Compliance Enforcement Division. Two men spoke with Channel 8 News when they have not received their cars back in a year. Once officers showed up with search warrants, they were able to return a total of five cars to their rightful owners.
When one of the men attempted to start his car, it began smoking stating that their cars havenāt been fixed or even touched in the year that they dropped it off at Duaineās. The investigation is still on going.

People joke about spending all the money before your paycheck arrives when the person works in retail. Certainly some truth but I haven't bought anything at my work yet. (Thought crossed my mind on a couple occasions; one item wasn't available anymore, another I forgot to buy after I dug it out from the back of a shelf and kinda doubt it'll still be there when I'm back in a couple days.) But yesterday I spent all the money I expect to make the entire time I'm scheduled as holiday help... on my means to get to work. Vicious cycle there, and the purpose of a holiday job is to come out ahead or pay for gifts. So I've complained here about how I developed a coolant leak, that was originally small and stoppable but in the last week or so has grown into something that will drain the coolant reservoir in five days flat. A reputable garage told me it was a water pump issue and replaced it, plus flushed the system (which I expected since I've run 3 bottles of leak sealant through it!), and $400 later I'm hopefully back in shape. This left a project that I'm more versed in -- finding out why the remote doesn't lock the doors. (Oily material on the contacts inside the remote, which I cleaned with a cotton swab and alcohol.)
