Once finished in the N.A.R.T. blue and white colour scheme, but seen here in its original factory finish, this Ferrari 500 TRC is simply beautiful.
Its a shame the racing number is not stuck down the well, and I'd have preferred to see it with a proper roundel in place of this slightly odd placement, but it doesn't detract from a car that is very pretty to look at.

As its still Ferrari Friday, here is a shot from the assembly road at Goodwood of chassis 2129GT, a Ferrari 250 GT SWB/C sold to Garage Francorchamps for Willy Mairess to race in 1960.
This car took the victory at the Tour de France on its maiden race, driven by Willy Mairesse and Georges Berger, under number 157. It then took second at the 1000km Paris with Wolfgang von Trips partnering Willy Mairesse.
In 1967, under the ownership of Bill Lake, the car had sliding windows fitted rather than the factory vent windows.
In 2001 Adrian Beecroft took ownership, and the car was fitted with registration "SSL 899".

Yukon, Oklahoma
Our first day on the road and a visit to Yukon for the mill (also supposed to be a breakfast stop), but there was the impending storm approaching so time was tight. We only managed a few shots from our time in Oklahoma due to the weather - it also happened to be thanksgiving and nothing was open!
